We landed on a fairly dim, neutral white setup, dimmer than either of us expected to be comfortable, because it cut monitor glare noticeably during test sessions. Temperature Matters More Than Either of Us Expected

The room sits above an unheated garage, and by the second hour of a scrim block on a cold evening the temperature swing was large enough to be genuinely distracting, cold enough early on to need a jacket and stuffy an hour later once his PC and monitor had been running at full load.
